We intend to host an international cadre of statistical ecologists at this conference. We have invited a group of luminary plenary speakers. These include Ken Burnham, Anne Chao, James Clark, Jim Nichols, Shirley Pledger, Roger Pradel and Carl Schwarz. Please have a look at their abstracts available under "Presentations" on the menu at right, after you have acquired a login for this website.

If you choose to submit an abstract for consideration, they will be forwarded to our scientific committee. You will be notified at each stage of the review process through our automated abstract tracking system. However if you have questions regarding the abstract submission process, please contact Len Thomas.

Over the three days of this conference, in addition to our plenary speakers, we expect to host 60-100 contributed papers held during concurrent sessions, along with a poster session. The conference will be held in the Gateway venue on our North Haugh campus.

As part of the registration package, accommodation in a university residence, as well as meals are included. See the accommodation description on the menu at right. Should you wish to arrive on the Monday prior to the conference, or stay the Friday evening after the conference, we have accommodation packages to suit those needs. We will also hold a conference reception and banquet on Thursday evening at the historic Lower College Hall. Our opening wine reception will be on the Tuesday evening and an attended poster session will occur on Wednesday evening.

Travel information to St. Andrews, and between St. Andrews and the IBC conference location in Dublin, will be added to this website in due course. Questions regarding accommodation, banquet, and conference registration should be sent to Rhona.
